ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION | | | | | RULES & CONDITIONS OBJECTIVESWe ask you to convince us of building our future home on top of a hill with an incredible view of the picturesque Mosel River and its stunning vineyards. We are calling for submissions from international architects for an invitation-only design competition to build our future home in Wincheringen, Germany. It is our intention to build the winning design proposal.
As much as possible this will be a paperless, web-based competition; all entries must be electronic. All the important information and documents related to this competition will be posted on jeedeecee.com under the category “AUF MONT_43”.
The jury will come together to view submissions electronically.
ELIGIBILITYThe competition is open to invited architects only. There is no entry fee.
ANONYMITYAnonymity of entries is not required. Entries can have identifying marks, including logos, text, insignia, or images that could be used to identify the submission’s author.
Each entry must have the unique Registration Number issued upon registration prominently displayed on the front face(s) of each and every page of your submission material. (Please refer to “Submission Requirements”)
PRIZESPRIZE 1: 3.000 € + project execution*
PRIZE 2: 2.000 €
PRIZE 3: 1.000 €
PRIZE 4: 500 €
PRIZE 5: 500 €
The jury reserves the right to modify the distribution of prize money, within the same total amount and number of prizes.
* Project execution might have to be coordinated with a local architect. All future professional fees are based on a total construction cost of 400.000 € and follow the German HOAI recommendations. Nevertheless, total architect’s fees for the winning project are limited to 40.000 €, which includes the 1st prize.

COPYRIGHTThe competition entries will become our property and may be published and exhibited in any country at our discretion.
We will respect and acknowledge the copyright of the participants.

ACCEPTANCE OF CONDITIONSBy submitting an entry, participants will:
> Agree to the rules and conditions as set out in this document.
> Declare that the proposed designs are his/her own work.
> Agree to accept the decisions of the jury as final.
> Agree not to publicize their entry in any way before the jury has made their selection. Any breach of this rule will render the entry invalid.
