ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION | | | | | SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS IMPORTANT INFORMATIONPlease read this document carefully. As much as possible this will be a paperless, web-based competition; all entries must be electronic. All the important documents are posted on jeedeecee.com under the category “Auf Mont_43”. Eligibility criteria must be satisfied. A successful competitor must be able to satisfy the jury that he/she is the bona fide author of submitted designs.
DEADLINEAll submissions must be uploaded onto jeedeecee.com or sent to jdc@jeedeecee.com no later than MONDAY 02 MARCH 2009.
Entries will be disqualified if received after the deadline.
The following files are required for jury presentation and possible publication. Each of these files must be submitted as a pdf in A4 format (210 x 297 mm). The files must be high resolution for exhibition and publication purpose and be at least 150 dpi.
> Presentation page conceptualizing the design proposal.
> Site Plan with context (note graphic scale and N arrow on drawing).
> Floor Plans of each level in the same file (note graphic scale and N arrow on drawing).
> Rendered perspective or elevation of the house viewed in the context.
> Sections in the same file. (note graphic scale)
> Hand-sketch: A simple hand-sketched perspective drawing.
> Description: see section REQUIRED TEXT below.
You are free to add detailed drawings and other charts or descriptive texts that make your design clearer. Descriptive texts should be in English.
All submissions must include the following:
The entrant’s Registration Number must be included in the upper right hand corner in either 36-point plain black text on a white background or 36-point plain white text on a black background.
REQUIRED TEXTA text statement of no more than 250 words describing the project concept and design intent must be uploaded as a separate file in a Microsoft Word compatible (.doc) file.
English is the official language of the competition and only statements in English will be accepted.
Files must be uploaded or emailed in the following formats:
> A4 (210 x 297mm) in horizontal or landscape orientation.
> PDF files at 150 dpi for each of the required drawing files.
> One Microsoft Word compatible (.doc) file of the project description in 250 words or less.
> Please do not submit any of the required items in any other format than requested above.
FILE NAMINGAll files must be named with the assigned Registration Number received upon completion of registration, followed by an underscore, followed by the name of the file as shown below. As an example, files for registrant 000 would be labeled as follows:

Every file must include the entrant’s Registration Number.
